Performance Coaching

  

Coaching is "just in time" learning, as opposed to training which can be regarded as "just in case". Performance coaching is facilitative one-on-one coaching with key client-focused executives, managers, supervisors and staff in an organization. It is for the benefit of the individual client with the focus being on improving organizational performance or development, although there may well be a personal component also. Results are measured against the performance requirements of the organization with respect to the individual or individuals being coached. When coaching is combined with training, the learning can be applied and thoroughly integrated in the workplace.

At a coaching session you will bring an agenda of issues or items you wish to work with and your coach will help you resolve those issues or problems, establish priorities and make the most of opportunities. Your coach will challenge you, offer alternatives and provide support.

Presenter Coaching

One-on-one coaching is increasingly being recognized as the way for individuals to improve their presentation performance for the benefit of themselves and their organization.

Your coach will work with you to determine the areas to be covered, firstly through a personalized assessment session that;  

  • is directed specifically toward the individual

  • targets areas for improvement

  • maximizes areas for strength

  • uses a proven approach to bring strength and authority to the individual's communication presence

  • is interactive

  • is highly confidential.

Following the assessment session, the coach will recommend a course of action geared to produce tangible and effective results that meet the communication goals of the individual. A series of custom-designed coaching sessions will be scheduled to complete the process. Individual presenter coaching sessions will typically work on the following key areas:  

  • Refining and enhancing presentation style

  • Refining and enhancing communication style

  • Analyzing and correcting vocal and verbal aspects

  • Identifying and correcting non-verbal communication habits

Senior Management/Executive Presentation Coaching

We provide private presentation coaching for senior level executives. Individual coaching has helped senior managers and executives make powerful and immediate improvements in their presentation skills and style. Often coaching is requested in preparation for an important single and specific presentation or for a series of repeated inspiring presentations. One-on-one coaching sessions are highly tailored, rigorous and typically involve video coaching, utilizing DVD video recording to accelerate improvement.

Business Professionalism & Etiquette Coaching

In addition to our Business Professionalism & Etiquette workshop, we provide personalized one-on-one coaching to those wishing to present themselves in the best possible light to their organization’s clients and potential customers, or to audiences within their organization. Often executives and managers are called upon to represent their company at important and high profile events. Each time this happens they are being judged by their looks and behaviours, either consciously or unconsciously, and the professional image portrayed in these situations can be the decisive factor to their success.
